Affiliations
KeongMas is one of the groups that Irene is highly involved in. Being the co-founder of the Association, Irene feels that KeongMas has brought a positive impact, not only to the Indonesians residing in the United States, but also to the peoples in Indonesia.
With over 50 members across the world, KeongMas promotes leadership and creative projects creation for its clients. Its current clients are: Solidaritas Nusa Bangsa, an Indonesian legal aid located in Jakarta, Indonesia; Save Emergency for Aceh (SEFA), an Indonesian Human Rights Advocacy Group for Children located in Aceh, Indonesia; and Sinergi Indonesia Magazine, an Indonesian politics magazine located in Jakarta, Indonesia.

As singing has become Irene’s most favorite thing to do since she was very young, she joins St. John’s choir in Lawrence, KS in 2006. The choir is famous for its festive praise and worship, and taking a part in the choir has been a rewarding experience for her! Come see us if you’d like.. we sing most Sundays at the 10 AM mass!
Irene is an alto, but watch out, she sometimes sings the descant, too. =)
